We believe that safe, healthy and sustainable food should be available for everyone. From food production to consumption people should not be exposed to chemical or natural contaminants nor should food be produced under unfair or unethical conditions. However, in reality a lot still needs to be done to accomplish that. Quality Assurance within Fresh Studio is often not a stand-alone practice, but an integral part of the way we work. Most of our projects have a quality component and the Quality Assurance department, with staff in each of the four office locations, supports that.

Private standard development
Next to the existing standards, we have developed and assisted in the development of several private standards: Some clients require even stricter standards than the common standards as they cater high-end markets whereas others want only a focus on food safety.
Inspection
We also assist our clients in quality inspections, such as container inspections. Whenever agricultural products are imported or exported quality issues may arise. Fresh Studio’s quality assurance team can assist companies in executing second party inspections resulting in objective quality reports. We also assist buyers in controlling the supply chain and making sure all quality procedures are followed along the production chain.
